Martha Lee Mikulek Barron, 79, of Nashville, formerly of Houston, Texas, died Sunday, November 21, 2010. She was born Sept. 18, 1931, in Crosby, Texas, the daughter of the late Henry and Rosie Lee Mikulek. Martha was a life-long cook, and worked in Southwest Arkansas. She became famous for being the founder/owner of M&M Flower Nursery in Nashville. She was a faithful Christian, knew hard work and common sense, and loved doing for her family and others. She enjoyed working in her flower garders and the beauty from the earth. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Cecil Barron, in 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Barron Furr of Mineral Springs; brother, David Mikulek of Nashville; four grandchildren, Curtis Morris, Robert Morris and Matthew Morris, all of Nashville, and Melissa Morris of Mineral Springs; four great-grandchildren, Abbygale Lee Morris, Erik, Diana and Joe Morris; and many friends. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery, with Bro. Wayne Murphy officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
