Marjorie Reed

Marjorie Reed, 81, of Nashville, died December 5, 2012, in Texarkana, TX. She was born August 7, 1931, at Bingen, AR, the daughter of the late Claudie and Verna Chambers Graves. She worked at Quality Shoe Store for over 30 years. She was a member of Sardis Methodist Church; Eastern Star, Chapter 538, and past president of the Nashville High School Booster Club. Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband, Dildy Reed of Nashville, AR; sons, Rodney Reed and wife, Penny of Nashville, AR, and Max Reed and wife, Glenda of Nashville, AR; daughter, Brenda Kay Reeves of Houma, LA; grandchildren, Jennifer Schelette and Darrell Langley, Justin Schelette, Leslie Cole and husband, Steve, Lee Reed, Clint Reed, Derek Reed and wife, Kim, Adrienne Reed, Aleshia Erwin and husband, Jason; eight great-grandchildren; John Weeks, close family friend. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 8, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Keenan Williams and Michael Howard officiating, burial in Sardis Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sardis Cemetery.
