Margaret Ann Hallmark, age 87 of Lockesburg, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Hot Springs. She was born on April 7, 1937 in Old Washington to the late Doyle Marshall and Della Young Marshall.

Mrs. Hallmark was a member of the Mineral Springs church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, woodworking, painting, and researching genealogy. During various times in her life, she owned and operated businesses such as an alteration shop, a restaurant called The Millwood Inn and a store called The Country Cabin. She was a homemaker for many years, as well. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Mack Hallmark; second husband, Roy Cox; three brothers, Clarence Marshall, James Marshall and Doyle Dean Marshall; a daughter, Kathy Hallmark, an infant son, James David Hallmark; one daughter-in-law Dana Hallmark and son-in-law Jim Harberson.

Survivors include her two children, Randy Hallmark and Becky Harberson-Peper (Glenn); her sister-in-law, Sibbie Elmore; an uncle, Billy Tom Young; three aunts Patsy Harper, Lynda Osborn and Betty Priddy; eight grandchildren, Andy Shelton, Christi Smith (Keith), Angela Miller, Jimbo Harberson, John Harberson (Stacy), Jason Pettit, Chris Hallmark and Kelsie Hallmark; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Kathy Hill and Jeana Hopper; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m, on Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Mineral Springs church of Christ.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Mineral Springs church of Christ with Paul Jones officiating. Interment will follow in County Line Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
