Mae June Verdon Cooley

Mae "Miss Mae" June Cooley, age 81 of Mineral Springs, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. She was born on December 21, 1935 in Wilberton, Oklahoma; the daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Bidwell Verdon. Miss Mae is a member of Central Baptist Church in Mineral Springs, AR. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Matha Hicks Cooley. Survivors include her son, Lyle Cooley and wife Tracey; her brother, Tommy Verdon; and her grandchildren, Aaron Cooley and Jennifer Cooley; as well as her cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville. Services will be Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Central Baptist Church in Mineral Springs. Burial will follow at Mineral Springs Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
