Lydia Adell Thomas, age 99, of Murfreesboro, died on December 1, 2012 in Murfreesboro. She was born on May 25, 1913 in Pike County, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Henry and Beulah (Buckley) Strawn. She was a member of the Harvest Time Assembly of God Church in Murfreesboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thomas, Sr. ; five sisters, Alline Allison, Hazel Flaherty, Winnie Mitchell, Corrine Strawn, and Doris Shaft; and five nephews, Bobby Joe Flaherty, David Lynn Mitchell, Billy Glenn Mitchell, Terry Wayne Mitchell, and Jerry Bob Mitchell ; and one niece, Lawanda Echols Survivors include: one brother, Morris Strawn of Nashville; nieces and nephews, Buddy and Francis Alford of Indiana, Ruth Bailey of Murfreesboro, Jimmy Dale and Brunell Flaherty of Murfreesboro, Nella and Emal Crow of Kirby, Evelyn Smyth of Hot Springs Village, Glen and Roberta Strawn of Jonesboro, AR, Larry and Linda Strawn of Murfreesboro, Doris Joe of Florida, and Ralph and Nancy Miller of Indiana, Dave and Judy Breedlove of TX, and Jim and Beverly Morgan of TX. Lots of great nieces and nephews also mourn her passing.. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Harvest Time Assembly of God Church with Brother Jerry Shinn officiating.
