Loy R. “Butch” Cassady age 74, of Nashville, Arkansas died on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 in Nashville, Arkansas. He was born March 9, 1947 in Nashville, Arkansas the son of the late Calvin Jewell and Chloe Jones Cassady.
Mr. Cassady was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nashville and worked thirty-six years in sheet rock production at the Briar Plant in Nashville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Edith Bennett, Reval Corbell, Gene Cassady, Charlie Robert Cassady, Helen Rodger, Lola Jewel Deal, Mildred Locke, Betty Ruth Bowles, and Neta Pearl Chapman.
Survivors include his wife Judy Cassady of Nashville, AR; two sons Jeffrey Loy Cassady and wife Samantha; Micah Cassady and wife Tiffany; grandchildren Mic, Skyler, Alice Bea, and Elizabeth; one brother David Cassady, and one sister Janis Kist.
Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at First United Methodist Church in Nashville, with Rev. Daniel Kirkpatrick officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
