Lowell Walter Flournoy

Lowell Walter Flournoy, 81, of Nashville, formerly of Shreveport, died Thursday, August 5, 2010, at a Nashville nursing home. He was born March 7, 1929, at Lockesburg, AR, the son of the late Robert Clinton and Margaret Emma Lowery Flournoy. He was a member of Rose Park Baptist Church in Shreveport. Mr. Flournoy was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Hicks Flournoy, son, Terry M. Flournoy, brother, Lowery C. Flournoy, and sister, L elia Faye Lewis. He is survived by one sister, Lois G. Kesner and husband, James, of New Boston, Texas; several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends. Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 9:00 A.M., Friday, August 6, at Temperanceville Cemetery with Rev. David Raulerson officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
