Lisa Jane Lawson Sharp, age 64, of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born January 5, 1961 in Texarkana, Texas the daughter of the late Johnnie Ruth Ewing and Jim and Ruth Lawson.
Ms. Sharp was a long-time member of the Central Baptist Church in Mineral Springs. When her kids were young she enjoyed going to their events, keeping the scorebook at Kayla’s games, and visiting garage sales. Lisa enjoyed watching her grandkids grow up and going to concerts and having lunch at Poblanos with her best friend, Deb Cowling.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother James Laxton Lawson.
Survivors include one son Jimmy Dean “J.D.” Sharp II and wife Jarie of Sulphur, OK; one daughter Kayla Sharp-Estep of Magnolia, AR; five brothers Willie Ringer, John, Gary, Brad and wife Ashley, and Tony Ewing; one sister Denise Woodruff and husband Loyd of Nashville, AR; her four grandchildren Jakub Sharp and Jalie Sharp both of Sulphur, OK, and Kynsen and Jaci Estep both of Magnolia, AR, bonus grands Hunter and Cassidy Estep of Queen City, TX; her best friend Deb Cowling of Mineral Springs, AR; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, with Bro. Ben Jones officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
