Linda Stone

Linda Stone 70 of Delight, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at her home. She was born on March 24, 1946 in Bowen, Arkansas the daughter of the late Rufus Franklin and Mary Evy Stark Stone. She was preceded in death by her husband William Glenn "Goober" Stone. Two sisters Nelda Harris, Joyce Clay, a brother Dallas Stone, and a son-in-law Danny Davis. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Davis of Delight, Wanda Morris and husband Larry Ray "PeeWee"of Dierks; one son, Clint "Beebo" Stone of Delight; eight grandchildren, Josh Lockwood, Justin Stone, Jacob Jackson, Jesse Jackson, Jamie Jackson, Memphis Jackson, Eden Roberts Henderson, and Andrew Henderson; three step-grandchildren Hailey Morris, Braylee Morris, and Carter Morris five great grandchildren, Brylee Lockwood, Tynlee Lockwood, Blayze Stone, Lucas Jackson, and Delta Lockwood. One brother Joe Stone of El Dorado, AR; four sisters Carolyn Quinney of Gurdon, AR; Cleon King of Delight, AR; Billie Lockeby of Delight, AR; and Sue May of Delight, AR; A number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends mourn her passing. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 20, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 21, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, with burial to follow in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital.
