Lillie Mae Sillavan, 96, of Nashville, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at a Nashville hospital. She was born November 18, 1914, at Red River County, TX, the daughter of the late Charlie Franklin and Mary Daisy Rosson Hale. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist for 79 years. She was a retired cafeteria worker for Nashville School District. Mrs. Sillavan was preceded in death by her husband, Otis C. Sillavan, one son, Don Sillavan, daughter-in-law, Pauline Sillavan, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two sons, Swannie Sillavan of Nashville, AR and Jim Sillavan and wife, Jean of Nixa, MO; one daughter. Kathy Smith and husband, Tony, of Ashdown, AR; one daughter-in-law, Sue Sillavan of Hope, AR; two sisters, Golden Reed and husband, Warren, of Stinnett, TX and Jennie Langley of Amarillo, TX; twelve grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren; a number of nephews, nieces and a host of friends. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 21, at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church, with Bros. Jimmy Dale and Jerry Smith officiating, burial in Ozan Cemetery, Bingen, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
