Libbie Lamb

Libbie Lamb, 92, of Delight, died Sunday, September 20,2009 at a Murfreesboro hospital. She was born July 22, 1917, the daughter of the late Curtis and Zenobia Copeland Hughes. She was a member of the Delight Church of Christ. Mrs. Lamb was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Lamb; a daughter, Mary Janet Stone; one brother, Doyle Hughes; and three sisters, Carrie McClain, Erma Kelley and Helen Miller. She is survived by two sons, Roger Lamb of Biloxi, MS and Mike Lamb of Lenoir City, TN; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 24, at Delight Church of Christ, with Wallace Alexander officiating, burial in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
