Lena M. Ross, 89, of Nashville, died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at a Nashville hospital. She was born October 23, 1921, the daughter of the late George Friddle and Lula Margaret Arnold Friddle Addington. She was a member of Sardis Methodist Church and served as the treasurer for many years. Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her husband, George J. Ross; grandson, James Michael Ross and one great-granddaughter, Katelyn Key. She is survived by two sons, James Ross and wife Irene of El Dorado, AR and Kenneth Ross and wife, Linda of Mineral Springs, AR; one daughter Mary Hughes and husband, Travis of Nashville, AR, six grandchildren Belinda Hughes Lowe, Jacqueline Ross McDonald, Wendy Ross Key, Blake Ross, Randy Ross, and Michele Ross Daugherty; eight great-grandchildren Terra, Braiden and Aron McDonald, Kendra, Kristin and Ethan Key, and Jackson and Cole Daugherty, as well as host of friends. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 22, at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel, with Bros. Ken Williams and Billy Dawson officiating, burial in Sardis Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
