Lecil Jamison, age 92 of Nashville, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021. He was born November 20, 1928 in Nashville, the son of the late H.A. and Mattie J. Shofner Jamison.
He was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ, for many years he owned and operated Jamison’s Cleaners, and was the district director for the Mine Creek Soil Conservation for forty-three years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ramona Ball Jamison, one son Lecil Jack Jamison,one daughter Jerry Beth Alderman,one grandchild Jamie Lee Kersh, and three brothers James Jamison, H.L. Jamison, and Kermit Jamison.
Survivors include three grandchildren Michael Jamison (Debra) of Nashville, Heather Applegate (Adam) of Nashville, Lakey Kershof Mena, AR; three great grandchildren Tristen Jamison, Gauge and Gavin Applegate; one brother Val Jamison of Nashville; one sister Delois White of Dallas; as well as anumber of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 in Restland Memorial Park, with Larry Teague officiating. Services are under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
