Lawrence "K.T." Kyle Thomas Brantley

Lawrence â�œK.T.â₝ Kyle Thomas Brantley, 17, of Delight, AR, died Sunday, August 1, 2010, at Arkansas Childrenâ�™s Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born November 6, 1992, at Mena, AR, the son of James Lee Brantley and Sonia Crae Clark Woods. He was a member of Delight Church of Christ and attended Bowen Community Church. He was a member of Delight Basketball and Track, a Murfreesboro Football and Basketball player; member of MHS & DHS FFA, Delight Student Council, and was a Delight Homecoming escort. He attended Barton Bible Camp and loved water sports, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He loved playing guitar and drums and video games. He also loved creating and listening to music. K.T. is survived by his father, Jimmy Brantley of Pisgah, AR; mother, Sonia Woods of Delight, AR; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Joy Brantley of Pisgah, AR and maternal grandparents, Steve and Judi Birdwell of Hot Springs, AR; paternal great-grandmother, Dessie Andrews of Pisgah, AR and maternal great-grandparents, Jesse and Ophelia Lawrence of Mena, AR, sisters, Harlie Nicole Woods of Delight, AR, Brett Marlar of Hot Springs, AR, Leslie Mathews of Greenbriar, AR and Amber Hackney of Gilham, AR and a host of friends. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 5, at Delight Gymnasium, with Sid Smith officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
