Lavernia Marie â�œBuntâ₝ Lingo Ballard, 77, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, August 11, 2012. She was born on February 27, 1935 in Highland. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ezra Ballard, parents, Sherman and Bell Westerman Lingo, sister, Faye Ledbetter, and two brothers, Elbert Lingo and Ronnie Lingo. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Miguel Saldana of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Sarah Hopson of Russellville, Yadira â�œDeeâ₝ and Jacey Saldana, both of Murfreesboro; four sisters, Alta Bumgarner of Shreveport, LA, Larrie Harris, Donnie Dalton, and Jeanie Bumgarner, all of Murfreesboro, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at College Hill Cemetery in Murfreesboro, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
