LaNora Faye Brown, 81 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. She was born on September 8, 1934 in Tokio, Arkansas the daughter of the late Fred Nunn and Bonner Ramage Nunn. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Murfreesboro and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charlie Brown; her parents Fred and Bonner Nunn; sisters Gay Bennett, Joy Green, Christine Blaine, and Nina Chambers; granddaughter April Kuykendall; and great grandson Colton Kuykendall. Survivors include two sons Charles Brown and wife Cindi of Belton, Texas; Ricky Brown and wife Annette of Maud, Texas; a daughter Debbie Holden and husband David of Nashville, AR; grandchildren Rodney Brown, Jeff Brown(Tamara), Matt Brown, Kayla Thompson(Aaron), Heather Cornwell(Shane), Heath Kuykendall(Kayla); eight great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives. Nora lived most of her life in Nashville and Murfreesboro. She loved the Lord above all else, and her next greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She and husband Charlie always enjoyed camping and that was passed on to the children and grandchildren. Some of the best family memories are of eating "Mamaws" biscuits and gravy at the lake. Nora was always a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 12 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 13 at the First Christian Church in Murfreesboro, with burial to follow in Delight Cemetery. Under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
