Kirk Alan Bell, age 59, of Mineral Springs, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, in Nashville, Arkansas. He was born June 9, 1965, in Decatur, Georgia the son of the late Glenn A. Bell and Dorothy Hunter Bell.
Kirk was a member of First Baptist Church in Nashville. He served as an EMT for Howard Memorial Hospital for 12 years. He also was the Business Operations Manager for United Ag and Turf. Kirk loved farming and raising cattle on his farm, he and his family were selected in 2005 as Howard County Farm Family of the year. He also served his community over the years serving on numerous boards which included Farm Bureau, Mine Creek Soil and Water, as well as serving the city of Mineral Springs as mayor.
Kirk loved duck hunting, spending time at squirrel camp, deep sea fishing, gardening and just being outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Rebecca Gay Bell.
Survivors include his wife Lesa Bell of Mineral Springs, AR; one daughter Megan Worthen and husband Aaron of Nashville, AR, one son Chad Goss of Phoenix, AZ; two grandsons Brayden Worthen and Parker Goss; one brother Greg Bell and wife Diane of Mineral Springs; one sister Joy Bell Norris and husband Todd of Hot Springs Village; three nieces Kimberly Denise Bell of Garland, TX, Emily Bell of Bryant, AR, Caroline Bell of Elko, NV; one nephew Trevor Norris of Garland, TX; one aunt Joyce Bell Hammond Hesselbein of Bryant, AR. Kirk loved telling everyone that he was the youngest of 33 first cousins.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 28, at First Baptist Church in Nashville, with Bro. Kevin Sartin officiating. Burial will follow in Mineral Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Jack McAlister, Will McAlister, Zach Backus, Jimmy Brewer, Jimmy Hood, and Dickie Hendry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Pinegar, Glen Owens, and Donald Sitzes.
