Kay Garner

Kay Garner, age 71 of Delight, Arkansas, passed away on April 13, 2024 at her home. She was born in Delight on October 24, 1952 to the late Boyce Hill and Verna McLaughlin Hill.

Kay was a member of the Delight First Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with a group of ladies, called the Yaya Sisters. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling and bowling. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Jerry Garner, three brothers, Donny Hill, Troy Hill and J.B. Hill; and one sister Sue Garrett.

Survivors include her three children, Tina Hale, Rebecca Garner (Justin Cheek) and Bradley (Leigh) Garner; two sisters, Annie Futrell and Wynelle “Sis” Collinsworth; nine grandchildren Hannah Hale, Hayley Hale, Noah Cox, Makaylyn Cheek, Price Cheek, J. Cheek, Kizer Cheek, Austin Garner and Tucker Garner; one great-grandchild Olivia Predmore; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
