Karen came to this world on January 17th 1940 in Paris Texas. She was the only child born to Maudie and Herman Siegler. She was a Christian and loved the Lord. She worked in real estate and banking. She was born a brunette but became a redhead as fast as she could. She met Jimmy Mack Davis in the spring of 1956 and were married in 1958 together they carved out a beautiful life together raising their two daughters Dawn and Renee. They were true soul mates and loved each other completely for 52 years. Karen reminisced often of the days when she was sewing dresses, costumes or hosting sleepovers for her girls Dawn and Renee. She found a lot of joy in the memories of raising her children alongside her beloved Jim. However, her greatest joy later in life was being Gaga to Stephen, Jordan, Katlyn and Kendall. When Karen and Jim were able Bass fishing was their favorite pastime. Karen had a bright and energetic personality and always wore a smile. She was full of compliments and kind words, she also never missed an opportunity to laugh. You knew when she started laughing at the beginning of a story that the ending was bound to be good. She loved sweets and her cat Hubble and doted on him constantly. Generous and affable she gave all she was to her loved ones. She knew no strangers and easily won the hearts of many with her charming ways. To know her was to love her. Karen was called home by our Lord on May 25th, 2020. Finally, at peace she and Jim are together again, together at last. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
