Judy Carolyn Goeldi

Judy Carolyn Jackson Goeldi, 66, passed away on June 16, 2018 at McKinney, Texas surrounded by her children and family. She is survived by her daughter, Janine Cunningham and son-in-law, Bobby and their children: Kayla, Jacob, and Hannah of Bella Vista, Arkansas; her son, David Minor and daughter-in-law, Laura and their son Cullen of Denison, Texas; her daughter, Rebekah Johnson and son-in-law, Kurt of McKinney, Texas. Her step children Manuela Zindel and husband Markus of Switzerland and their children Sarina, Dominic, Vanessa, and Silas; Christian Goeldi and wife Janet and their children Sandra, Jason, and Abagail; and Marianne Goeldi of Switzerland. She is also survived by her sister, Rebecca Murdock and brother-in-law, John and their son, Matthew Duncan of Little Rock, Arkansas. As well as a large number host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a niece Lauren Duncan, and her loving husband, Hans Goeldi. Born on February 17, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to John Calvin and Virginia Jackson. Judy received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She started her over 40 year career as a registered nurse at Baptist Medical Center-Little Rock. She transitioned into other nursing positions from telephone triage nurse to Director of Nursing positions, and later retired from serving the State of Arkansas as a surveyor of nursing homes for the Office of Long Term Care. She was a beloved mother, loving wife, supportive sister, fun-loving grandmother, comical mother-in-law, and loyal friend. She had a zest for life, adventurous spirit, and wicked sense of humor. She will be missed everyday by those who knew and loved her, but we have faith in reuniting with her again. Funeral services will be 12:00, Thursday, June 21, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville with burial to follow at Ozan Cemetery in Bingen, Bro. Johnny Baker officiating.
