Joyce Whitson

Joyce Whitson age 71 of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her home. She was born on February 7, 1947 in Elaine, Arkansas the daughter of the late Kelly and Zeld MaFern Sandling Perry Blair. Mrs. Whitson was a Christian and a member of the Cross Point Cowboy Church in Nashville, Arkansas as well as a member of the Eastern Star. He was preceded in death by her husband Albert Allen Whitson Sr., a son David Allen Whitson, brothers Kelly Blair Jr., Charles Bufford Blair, Bobby Raymond Blair, and Timothy Edward Blair. Survivors include one son Albert Allan Whitson Jr. of Nashville, AR; two daughters Debbie Roquet and husband Jay of Nashville, AR; Brenda Jean Church of MA; Sisters Shirley Shattuck, Brenda Blair Baker, Pam Blair, and Katherine Childers, Becky Walters, and Lisa Lopez; grandchildren Jonathan Roquet and wife Robin of OR; Christopher Brown and wife Brittany of Hope, AR; Courtney Elain O'Neal and husband Casey of Nashville, AR; Shelby Leigh Roquet of Nashville, AR; Reese Hailey Howlett of MA; Kelsey Renea Whitson of Nashville, AR; as well as two great-grandchildren Emerson Brown, Tatum Brown, and Cass Brown. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 7, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 8, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, with Bro. Dan Patton and Bro. Brian Adair officiating, burial to follow in County Line Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
