Josephine Wright

Josephine Wright, 87, of Nashville, died Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at a Nashville hospital. She was born August 11, 1922, the daughter of the late Jim and Nancy Long Whisenhunt. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. . She sent out get-well cards from her Sunday School Class, which was very special to her. She was owner of B & W Grocery from 1964 to 1983. She was a great cook and everyone loved her coconut pies. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Howard Wright, grandson, Brad Hosey, brother, Marion Whisenhunt and two sisters, Ophelia Latimer and Mary Whisenhunt. She is survived by one son, James F. Wright and wife, Susan, of Theodore, AL; one daughter, Elizabeth Moore of Nashville, AR; grandchildren, Ken Hosey of Nashville, AR; Keith Wright of Tulsa, OK, Lynn Moore of Nashville, AR, Michelle Debrow of Wetumphka, AL, Jennifer Beavert of Nashville, AR, and Chris Moore of Nashville, AR; thirteen great-grandchildren; a number of nephews and nieces and a host of friends. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 16, at Immanuel Baptist Church, with Bro. Billy Dawson and Bro. David Blasé officiating, burial in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Glenwood, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, October 15, from 6:00 â�" 8:00 P.M.
