Josephine Griswold

Josephine Griswold 101, of Bryan, Tx passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born on March 15, 1915 in Bryan, Texas the daughter of the late Anton and Annie Merka. Mrs. Griswold was a member of the Northview Baptist Church in Bryan,Texas ,she was a loving wife, sister and aunt. She lived most of her life in Galveston, Texas before moving back to Bryan, Texas in the 1980's. In 2014 she was moved to Nashville, Arkansas where she remained until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Griswold of 14 years, 3 Brothers Antone Merka, August Merka, Martin Merka; 4 Sisters Olga Eubanks, Janie Vincent, Mary Dobrovolny and Martha Godwin. Survivors include her Nephew Neal Godwin Jr. and wife Ollie of Nashville, Arkansas as well as a number of nieces and nephews in Texas There will be a Private Burial at Smetana Cemetery in Bryan, Texas.
