John A. "Jan" Castleman of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at his home. He was born on February 21, 1927 in Nashville, Arkansas the son of the late David Monroe "Buck" and Sarah Tennie Maroon Castleman. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Nashville, and a farmer for many years. He was preceded in death by three brothers L.C. Castleman, D.M. Castleman Jr., Herbert Castleman, two sisters Mary Frances Jenkens, and Lucille Cowling. Survivors include his wife of sixty-five years Delsie Clark Castleman of Nashville, AR; a son Todd Castleman and wife Linda of Nashville, AR; two daughters Jennifer Crews and husband James of Post Falls, ID; Mindy Tarno and husband Andy of Nashville, AR; a brother Michael Castleman and wife Janet of North Little Rock, AR; sister Betty Hood and husband Bob of Arkadelphia, AR; two sister-in-laws Jessie Castleman of Dallas, TX; and Beuna R. Castleman of CA; eight grandchildren Kari Lea, Krista Fetterly, Justin Crews, Jenna Yount, Justin Garner, Rebecca Castleman, Kaylee Jones, and Peyton Tarno; thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. As well as a number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, with Bro. Glen Green and Bro. Paul Bullock officiating, burial will follow at Unity Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
