Joe Harrell Keys

Joe Harrell “Tobe” Keys, age 96, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away on April 10, 2023.  He was born February 10, 1927 in Pike City, Arkansas; the son of the late John Wesley Keys and Ivie Mae Wagner Keys.

Tobe married Edwina Louise Hodge on December 22, 1947.  They were married 49 years when the Lord called her home on August 27, 1997.

He is survived by three children, Joe Keys Jr. of Pearland, TX; Carolyn Hill and husband Mike of Stephenville, TX; and Janet Byram of Texarkana, AR; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Joe served in the United States Army stationed in Japan during WWII.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 14, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 15, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Chip Davidson officiating, burial will follow in Japany Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Japany Cemetery Fund, 98 Japany Loop, Murfreesboro, AR. 71958
