Joan Owens

Joan Owens, 85, of Nashville, died on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in Nashville. She was born on September 21, 1926 in Shamrock, TX, the daughter of the late John Monroe Osborne and Alice Ima Hayes Osborne. She was a clerk for Burlington Industries and member of the First Baptist Church in Nashville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Christine Wilhelm; two brothers, Albert Osborne and Gilbert Osborne. She is survived by her husband, Leo Owens of Nashville; one daughter, Janet Craver and husband, Larry of Nashville; one grandson, Toby Craver and wife, Amanda of Mt. Ida, AR; and three great grandchildren, Karlie, Carrie, and Brent; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville with Brother David Blasé officiating.
