J.J. (James Harold) Lee, 63, of Delight, Arkansas left this life on Tuesday May 16, 2017 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born June 22, 1953 in Prescott, Arkansas the son of the late Robert Woodrow Lee and Dora Ellen White. J.J. was an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Delight. He loved his God, his wife, his children, grandchildren, neighbors, and friends. He was a compassionate man who loved to help others. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son James Robert Lee; two brothers Robert Lee and Bobby Lee, and a sister Mary Higgins. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Emma Lee, his daughters Shelli Cox, and Tekoah Taylor, one brother Harlis Lee and wife Sissy, five grandchildren Jase Lamb, Jeffrey Cox, Mathew Cox, Emilee Jackson, and Zoey Hunter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M., to 8 P.M., Friday May 19, 2017 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro, with Bro. Bruce Francis and Doug McClure officiating. Interment will follow at Delight Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
