Jimmie Jean Welch

Jimmie Jean Welch, age 57, of Mineral Springs, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 in Texarkana, TX. She was born December 31, 1955 in Nashville, AR, the daughter of Jack Schooley and the late Meveline Smith Schooley. Jimmie Jean loved crafts, making jewelry, hunting, fishing. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Jimmie Jean was a nurse for many years for Poulan, Tyson, and Kohler. Survivors include her husband Terry Welch of Mineral Springs, AR; a daughter Wendy Walston of Center Point, AR; a brother Richard Schooley of Mineral Springs, AR; and a sister Jackie Goodson of Center Point, AR; and a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, with Bro. Tim Freel officiating, with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Latimer Funeral Home.
