Jewell Howard Jester

Jewell â�œJakeâ₝ Howard Jester, 93, of Dierks, Arkansas, died January 5, 2012, at his home. He was born June 19, 1918 the son of the late Joe and Artie Jester. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and the Buffalo Gap #484 Masonic Lodge for over fifty years. Mr. Howard was preceded in death by his wife Clara Jester. Four brothers Albert, Andrew, Barney, and Roy Jester. two sisters Viola Jester and Willie Mae Commegy. Survivors include five step children Wilbert Eads of Splendor, Texas, Tim Eads, Fort Worth, TX, Lona Eads Phillips and Nancy Eads Mitchell, both of Houston, TX; and Patsy Eads Mixson of The Villages, Florida, and a number of nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 8, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, with Bro. Larry Eason officiating, with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery in New Hope.
