Jerry Lee Smith, age 50 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his home. He was born August 15, 1962 in Dumas, Arkansas, the son of the late Paul and Zelma Baker Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Larry Smith and one sister, Georgia Washington. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Smith of Murfreesboro, AR; two sons, Rodrick Jordan of Murfreesboro, AR and Kartez Smith of Murfreesboro, AR; brothers, Oscar Williams of Lonke, AR Cleodis Smith of McGhee, AR, Leo Smith of Jacksonville, AR, Roy Lee Smith of Benton, AR, Billy Raye Smith of Brikescy, AR, Paul Smith of Murfreesboro, AR; sisters, Ocie Fisher of Kansas City, MO, Mary Daniels and Hattie Stovall of Gould, AR, Bobbie Freeman of Benton, AR and Mable Dunmore of Dumas, AR; grandchildren, Tkendriona Jordan, Keeunta Gilliam, Kehuma Gilliam, Tytaiona Gilliam, Kenneth Gilliam, Jr. and Shantel Christopher. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro, burial in United Methodist Cemetery, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Friday, November 23, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Murfreesboro.
