Janis Gay Clark was born on September 13, 1938, in Mineral Springs, Arkansas.
She was a former Vice President at the Bank of Prescott, Arkansas, where she made many friends throughout the area, while also working at Baker’s Easy Pay Store. Raised in Mineral Springs, she also lived in Alamogordo, Lovington and Las Vegas, New Mexico; Columbia, Mississippi; Prescott, Arkansas; and Colorado Springs, Colorado. She visited all 50 U.S. states in her lifetime and also traveled internationally on many continents.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lee Clark, and her parents, Annie and Will McCullough and brother Garry McCullough.
Gay Clark is survived by her daughter, Nancy Swaty (Joe), brothers Michael McCullough (Becky), Nick McCullough (Anita), Chris McCullough (Stacey) and sister Lauri Halley (Tony), along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 17, at Mineral Springs Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.Wednesday, April 17, 2024
