He was born on November 7, 1951 in Nashville, to the late James Robert Robinson, Sr. and Patsy Ruth (Roberts) Robinson. He is survived by three brothers, Jackie Robinson and wife, Sonya of Mineral Springs, Donald Robinson and wife, Dana of Mineral Springs, and Sammy Robinson and wife, Cindy of Murfreeesboro.
