James Steven Nolen

James Steven Nolen, 62 of Roy, Arkansas died on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at his home. He was born January 24, 1957 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas the son of the late L.C. and Claris Cleaon Stone Nolen King. Mr. Nolen attended the Pisgah Church of Christ, and loved deer hunting and being outdoors. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one nephew Corey Richardson. Survivors include his significant other Susan Gills of Roy, AR, sons Ryan Nolen and wife Karmen of Amity, AR, Tye Gills of Crestview, FL, daughters Megan Wheeler and husband Chris of Roy, AR, Jana Morris and husband Jason of Roy, AR; sisters Rene Dixon and husband Bobby of Delight, AR, Teresa Wiggins of West Helena, AR, Cheryl Whatley and husband Warren of Hope, AR; five grandchildren Berkley Nolen, Huntley Nolen, Charleigh Wheeler, Kat Morris, and Emmitt Morris. Visitation will be 1:00 until service time on Saturday, January 11, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 11, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, with Leon McKinnon officiating, burial will follow in Roy Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
