James Lee Myrick, 82 died Monday, December 23, 2019 at Howard Memorial Hospital in Nashville, AR surrounded by his family. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Jeanette Mitchell of Medford, Oregon; his son Dennis Lamar Myrick and wife Roxanna of Hutchinson, Kansas; his daughters Belinda Annette Henderson and husband Sam of McCaskill, Arkansas; Jamie Nicole Green and husband Sean of Bossier City, Louisiana. His ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. He was born in Bingen, Arkansas to the late James Marion Myrick and Mary Ellen Compton. Also preceded in death by his wife Wanda Sue Pauly, his sister Rose Evelyn Richardson and two nephews, and great grandson Corbett Lyons. He served in the US Army from August 1960 to August 1962 and served inactive until 1966 as a military policeman. He was a sharpshooter, marksman in rifle and pistol and received a good conduct medal. He was a machinists for 48 years, working in Houston, and here in Arkansas where he worked at Nashville machine shop and then him and his son Dennis opened Jim-Den machine shop, in Nashville, and he moved it to Murfreesboro, where he finished his career. Visitation will be 10:00 until 12:00, Saturday, December 28, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville. Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 28, at Ozan Cemetery in Bingen, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
