James T. Milner

September 19, 1934 — June 13, 2015

James Thomas Milner, 80, of Whitehouse, TX, passed away on June 13, 2015, in Tyler, TX. He was born on September 19, 1934, in Camden, AR, the son of the late Maxie L. Milner and Ruth (McCorvey) Milner. Jim attended Fairview school at Camden, AR, and after high school graduation attended SMU in Dallas, TX, and earned a bachelor's degree. He served his country in Korea after joining the Army. Jim was a fine pianist and organist and for several years played both instruments for church services. On September 22, 1961, he and Sara Fontaine Milner were married and spent the next 53 years together. Jim is survived by his wife Sara and her nieces and nephews. Jim and Sara refer to Abel Rebolloso as their Godson. He and his wife, Veronica, and children, Abel Jr., Jonathan, and Leslie, welcomed us into their family and blessed us with their love and devotion. Jim is loved by all of his friends and Sara's family. We who believe Christ's promise know we'll meet again in a perfect place and never be parted. Graveside services will be on Monday June 15, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Saratoga Cemetery, in Saratoga, AR, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville, AR.
