James L Marshall

James L. Marshall, age 82 of Mineral Springs, Arkansas died on Saturday, September 3, 2022 in Nashville, Arkansas.  He was born September 20, 1939 in Mineral Springs, Arkansas the son of the late Doyle Marshall and Lou Della Young Marshall.

Mr. Marshall was a member of the Mineral Springs Church of Christ.  James was a retired diesel mechanic for Weyerhaeuser in Dierks and a mechanic for Transocean on the discoverer Spirit offshore oil rig.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He enjoyed working his garden and sharing vegetables to everyone in Cottonshed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Paulette Marshall and his son Timmy Marshall.

Survivors include one daughter Tyna Barnes of Mineral Springs, AR; one son Jim Marshall of Mineral Springs, AR; one sister Margaret Hallmark of Nashville, AR; a daughter in law Jerri Lynn Lamb of Mineral Springs, AR; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a number of friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m, Tuesday, September 6, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 7, at County Line Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
