James "Tom" Hicks

James Thomas �Tom� Hicks, 68, of Hope, formerly of Nashville, died Saturday, December 26, 2009 in Hope. He was born on August 23, 1941 in Nashville, AR, the son of Charles Gad and Ruby Mae (Jackson) Hicks. He was a Methodist. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by three brothers. Survivors include: a wife Elizabeth E. Hicks of Galt, CA; one son, David Hicks of Conway, AR; one brother, Wayne Hicks of Nashville, AR; and three sisters, Margaret LaBarraere of California, Mary Gammil of Russelville, AR, and Cindy Cochrane of Wichita, KS. A host of other relatives and friends mourn his passing Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville. Burial will follow at Patmos Cemetery in Patmos, AR under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 at the Latimer Chapel.
