James H. Henderson, 79, of Delight, passed away Sunday March 1, 2009 at home with all his family and friends. He was born January 30, 1930 at Billstown, AR, the son of the late Clyde William and Ina Clara Lamb Henderson. He was a member of the Saline Church of Christ, an Army veteran, a member of the American Legion, AmVets, and the Veterans of Foreign War. Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by a grandson Brad Allen Henderson, three brothers Melvin, Kenneth, and W.C. Henderson. And one daughter in law Pamela Jean Henderson. Survivors include his wife Mary Henderson of Delight, AR; four sons Ron and Tina Henderson of Delight, AR., David and Denell Henderson of Blevins, AR., Mike and Inday of Delight, AR., and Jimmie Henderson of Delight, AR; one daughter Eva Lou Gamble of Delight, AR; four brothers Curtis Henderson of Mineral Wells, TX, Clovis Henderson of Delight AR, Charles Henderson of Billstown, AR, and Tommy Henderson of Delight, AR; two sisters Frances Hale of Emmett, AR. and Clyda Sue Horton of Little Rock, AR; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and twenty-three nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends. Graveside Services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Delight Cemetery, with Freeman Henderson and James McCain officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
