James Harold Jones

James Harold Jones, 77, of Nashville, Arkansas died, November 26, 2011 in Ashdown, Arkansas. Mr. Jones was born December 17, 1933 the son of the late James Roy and Oma Lee Newell Jones. Mr. Jones was a Christian, a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and a veteran of the United States Navy. Harold�s favorite pastimes were; fishing, hunting, and dancing! He was preceded in death by one sister Cornelia (Connie) Bell Jones and one brother in law Billy Mobbs. Survivors include two sons, Mike and wife Michelle Jones and Glen and Audrey Jones both of Ashdown, AR; three sisters Margaret Mobbs of Tyler, TX; Mary Harris of Nashville, AR; and Virginia Bailey and husband Paul of Nashville, AR; five grandchildren Jeff Jones of Wilton, AR; Amy Jones, of Ashdown, AR; Ranae Hannah of Foreman, AR; Brian Jones of Ashdown, AR; and Daphne Dean of Ashdown, AR; eight great-grandchildren, and a number of special nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 29, at the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville, with Bro. David Cassady officiating, with burial to follow in Unity Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, November 28, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
