James Alvin Fielding, 57, of McCaskill, Arkansas, lost his corageous battle with cancer in Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at his home. He was born on July 5, 1954 in Pisgah, AR, the son of the late Alton Jewell Fielding and Roxie Pearl Jeffers Fielding. James was a logger. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Raymond Fielding; and one sister, Adonia Gayle Fielding. Survivors include three sons, Chris Fielding and wife, Lori of Richmond, TX, Jarrod Fielding and wife Jennifer of Texarkana, TX, and Jonathan Fielding of Gurdon, AR; one daughter, Rebekah Fielding of Gurdon, AR; his mother, Roxie of McCaskill; one brother, Larry Fielding and wife, Joann of McCaskill, AR; one sister, Pam Gibson, and husband, Bo of Murfreesboro, AR; five grandchildren, Tracy, J.R., Bryanna, Lauren, and Chloe; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 23, at the Friendship Church in McCaskill with James McCain officiating.
