James Robert Dawson

James Robert Dawson, 81, of Glenwood, formerly of Nashville passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in Glenwood. He was born on May 11, 1933 in Hot Springs, the son of the late Clyde Dawson and Dolres (Frie) Dawson. Mr. Dawson was foreman at the West Tree Service for over 35 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Dawson; one son, Frank Dawson; one great grandson, Motley Frueh; one brother, Jack Dawson; and one sister, Mary Dawson. Survivors include: one son, Robert Dawson and wife, Tracy of Nashville; three daughters, Bonnie Dawson of Nashville, Geraldine Cogburn and husband, Daniel of Glenwood, and Teresa Tollett and husband, Mike of Hot Springs; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends mourn his passing. Graveside services will be on at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Restland Memorial Park with Bill Cowles officiating under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville.
