Ima Jean Semmler, born on September 14, 1942, in Okay, Arkansas, passed away on August 24, 2024, in Cabot, Arkansas. Ima was a devoted mother, cherished friend, and active member of her church community. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, creating lasting memories that will be treasured by all who knew her. But above it all, she cherished Corey and the Lord.
Ima is survived by her son, Corey Semmler, and a daughter in law, Meagan Semmler. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael Dean Hall, her parents, Jewell Parson, Lois Hartness King, and Henry Beedie King, her twin sister Wilma, and brother Alton.
Ima’s house was filled with love and food. She always welcomed a gathering of family and would wake up in the early hours to welcome us all for Sunday lunch. We cherish those Sundays in our hearts.
Our family would like to thank Spring Creek for the care and love you provided Ima as well as Arkansas Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
