Hoy Eugene Chandler

Hoy Eugene Chandler, 71, of Fayetteville, formerly of Nashville, died Friday, May 28, 2010 in Franklin, TN. He was born October 28, 1938 in Nashville, AR, the son of Hoy F Chandler and Crystal Ardell Goodwin. Mr. Chandler graduated from Nashville High School in 1956 and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1967 with a BSBA in Accounting. He was past President of the Fayetteville Exchange Club and past President of the Northwest Arkansas Accounting Association. He served in the US Army Reserves for nine years and was a Southern Baptist. He is survived by his wife of over 47 years, June Chandler of Fayetteville; one son, Steven Chandler of Fayetteville; one brother Jim Chandler and wife Magel of San Diego, California; and 2 granddaughters, Vanessa Kaye Chandler and Melanie Anne Chandler of Fayetteville. Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, May 31, 2010 at Ozan Cemetery at Bingen with Reverend Billy Dawson officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
