Harold Fugitt, age 94 of Murfreesboro, Arkansas died on Monday, July 27, 2020 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born February 9, 1926 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas the son of the late William Thomas and Ada Mae Riley Fugitt. Mr. Fugitt first and foremost loved the Lord and was a member of the Japany Methodist Church. He served in the United States Army Air Corp and was a sharp shooter. He truly loved his children, grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen Jones Fugitt, a grandson Casey Fugitt, and a great granddaughter Paige Fugitt. Survivors include two sons Harold Thomas Fugitt of Murfreesboro, AR; Steven Fugitt and wife Paula of Dierks, AR; three daughters Sandra Guerra of Murfreesboro, AR; Pamela Burnett and husband Jimmy of Checotah, OK; and Lorrie Lightfoot of Waldo, AR; sixteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, and sixteen great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 30, at Japany Cemetery with Rob Evans officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
