Gloria Stone

Gloria Stone, age 79, of Garland, Texas, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 in Mesquite, Texas.  She was born January 13, 1943 in Delight, Arkansas the daughter of the late Lloyd Stone and Hazel Thompson Stone.

Mrs. Stone was a member of the South Garland Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Gaylena Cook, and a sister in law Louise Stone. Brother in law Gene Orndorff.

Survivors include two daughters Darlena Redmond and husband Aaron of Rowlett, TX, Kristi Cook  and fiancé Charlie of Garland, TX; three brothers Guy, Pat, and Jack Stone; one sister Anagail Orndorff; four grandchildren Brandon Stone, Tiffany Redmond, Joshua Redmond, and Marlena, Redmond.  Two great grandsons Tristian and Jace Redmond, and three great granddaughters Alyssa, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be noon until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, with burial to follow in Delight Cemetery, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
