Gladys L. Bear

Gladys L. Bear 100 of Nashville, Arkansas passed away on April 4, 2017 in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born on October 11, 1916 in Nacogdoches, Texas the daughter of the late John Bunyon and Dovie Avis Rodgers Jones. She was a dedicated Christian Baptist and she served the church many years by teaching Sunday school and keeping the nursery. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years Homer Ray Bear and a grandson David Dalton. Survivors include a son Ronald Ray Bear of St. Jo, TX; a daughter Judy Dalton of Nashville, AR; four grandchildren Mike Dalton, Sharon Dalton Zagorski, Wayne Bear, and Timothy Bear. Five great grandchildren Jessica Bain, Weston Dowdy, Austin Swope, Carly Dalton, and Lesly Dalton. Two great granddaughters Katie Barnes and Laken Barnes. Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Midway Baptist Church, with Aaron Crawford officiating. Under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
