Frances D. Blackwood, age 84, of Nashville, AR, died on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 in Nashville. She was born on September 4, 1927, the daughter of the late Otis Thomason and Clara (Lambert) Grimes. She was a homemaker. . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harland Blackwood; one brother, George Thomason; and one sister, Alice Thomason. Survivors include: two nephews, Scotty Thomason of New Boston, TX and Kit Thomason of Texarkana, AR and a host of friends. Graveside services will be on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Mineral Springs Cemetery with Bro. Glen Hicks officiating, under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville, AR.
