Floyd E Moore

August 3, 1933 — June 7, 2011

Floyd Moore, age 77, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at his home in Nashville, Arkansas, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peggy Robbins Moore, two sons and daughters-in-law, Kirby and Laurie Moore of Denver, Colorado, Keith and Ginger Moore of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and a daughter, Kimberly Ericksen of Nashville, AR; nine grandchildren, Christopher and Tiffany Moore of Arizona, Tyler and Shane Moore of Colorado, Chantal Hutchison and spouse, Tony, Ryan Cater and spouse Amanda, Brandon, Bailey and Chayse of Arkansas; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor Ericksen, Brooke and Leigha Thompson, Emma Hutchison, Peyton and Bradly Cater and Eva Castle all of Arkansas. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Patsy Overstreet of Benton, AR, brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Gail Robbins of Magnolia, AR and a number of special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Sarah Moore, two brothers, Cecil and Harold Moore and one sister, baby girl Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of First Baptist Church, Nashville, AR. He was very involved in his church prior to his illness, helping start new work in Arizona, teaching Bible Study classes, using his talents to help in church expansions, or wherever there was a need. He was retired from the Arizona Department of Transportation, as Parts Manager. He used his contacts at work and wherever an opportunity arose to share about his Lord and Savior. His grandchildren have fond memories of watching â�œPapawâ₝ build radio controlled air planes and then learning to fly them. He was a member of the ARCS of Maricopa County, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to World Orphans, P.O. Box 1840, Castle Rock, CO 80104, or First Baptist Church Building Fund, Nashville, AR or Murfreesboro First Baptist Church Building Fund. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church, Sunday, June 12, from 1:30 â�" 2:30. Memorial Service will be 2:30 P.M., Sunday, June 12, at First Baptist Church, Nashville, with Bros.
