Florida Bell, 97, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at her home in Nashville. She was born on August 4, 1918 in Nashville, the daughter of the late William Clardy and Melvertise (Craig) Clardy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Wiley Taylor; her second husband, Lawyer Bell; 3 sons; 5 brothers; and 4 sisters. She is survived by one son, Ben Edward Taylor of Nashville; two daughters, Mary May Ivory of Nashville, and Gracie Lee Crosslin of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Josephine Mosley and husband, Willis of Oklahoma City, OK, and Diane Johnson of Quitaque, TX; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. A host of other relatives and frends mourn her passing. Services will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Latimer Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville with Reverend Alex Winfrey officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Nashville. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
