Faye Nanny Blackburn Dayberry

Faye "Nanny" Blackburn Dayberry, age 80, of Nashville, AR, died Sunday, July 05, 2009 in Nashville, Arkansas. She was born August 14, 1928 in Olney, TX, the daughter of the late J. B. and Glennie Teague Davis. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Nashville. She loved quilting and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, of forty years, Jim Blackburn; one daughter Cheryl Blackburn; one grandson Jeffery Thomas; and second husband Bill Dayberry. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law Glenna and Kent Jackson of Kilgore, TX, Louise and Wayne Hicks of Nashville, Nancy and Jeffrey Shanks of Nashville, Jimmie Faye Scott of Archer City, TX; one brother Emmit Davis of Wichita Falls, TX; seven grandchildren Stephanie and Eric Wakefield of Nashville, Kent II and Karen Jackson of Henderson, TX, Alicia and Chris Bell of Benton, AR, Jason Hicks of Honolulu, HI, Mason Gatlin of Dallas, TX, Aaron and Austin Shanks of Nashville, Ricky Allen of Texas, Eugene Campbell of Texas; eight great-grand children Tarah and Matt Briggs of Kilgore, TX, Steven Wakefield, Dustin Wakefield both of Nashville, Tripp Jackson, Ty, Tad and Kenlee Rose all of Henderson, TX; and Morgan Thomas of Rowlette, TX; one great-great-granddaughter Macey Faye Briggs of Kilgore, TX; as well as many friends and relatives.
